Mel Davis has been a Licensed Real Estate Agent for over 10 years, but she has been around her family Real Estate business since she was a child. Mel has lived and traveled the world and could not be prouder to call Sarasota her home, since 2009. After living in NYC for 15 years, Mel relocated to Florida. Since then, she has lived in Citrus County, Gainesville, Tampa, and Miami Beach. Her favorite though, is Sarasota, because of everything it has to offer! From great schools (which her four children all attended!) to beautiful beaches, sports, gardens, and a wonderful variety of food and entertainment. Mel has been blessed to call Sarasota home since 2009. So much in fact, she has lived in St. Armands Circle area, Longboat Key, Siesta Key, Cherokee Park, and East of the Trail.

Mel had previously been in the fashion industry for over 20 years, then transitioned into owning SRQLocations for another 13. Her film, photo, and locations company is known throughout the United States, and these experiences help Mel advertise her clients' homes.

Mel's experience selling Real Estate in New Jersey, as well as throughout Sarasota and Manatee Counties, was a big reason why she chose Coldwell Banker Realty. Mel has an appreciation for the innovations that Coldwell is bringing to the Real Estate industry, as well as the ability to easily touch so many markets. The tools they offer for selling and buying homes are unique to Coldwell Banker Realty and the downtown office, which Mel views as an advantage for her clients.

When Mel isn't working, she enjoys paddle boarding Sarasota Bay with her dogs, going on hiking trips with her family, and spending time enjoying the local Sarasota beaches. Mel believes the best parts of her job are meeting new people, hearing their stories, and sharing her knowledge and experiences. It brings her such joy to watch the happiness clients feel when they close on their homes, because this is often the beginning of a newfound friendship that will continue to grow for years to come.
